Get ready to witness history! NASA is gearing up for the Artemis II mission, and if you're part of the media, you won't want to miss a beat. Following the launch, currently targeted for no earlier than February 6th, NASA's Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Houston, Texas, will be the hub for daily briefings with key agency managers and mission experts. But here's where it gets crucial: to cover these events on-site, you must secure media accreditation.
This is your only chance to request accreditation for covering Artemis II from JSC, including the splashdown and crew return. Important note: If you're already accredited for the Artemis II launch at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, that doesn't automatically grant you access to JSC events. You'll need a separate confirmation.
To apply for accreditation:
- Send your request to: jsccommu@mail.nasa.gov
- Deadline: Friday, January 16, 2026, at 4:00 PM ET. Don't miss it!
